Conceived in 1975 by Jean Lincet, owner of the historic Lincet dairy of northern Burgundy, this decadent cow’s milk cheese is a perennial favourite with Cuculo’s customers.
Délice de Bourgogne has an ivory-coloured, soft rind – which is edible – and bright white flesh. Its notes of mushroom and crème fraîche lead to a soft, airy texture with a buttery, creamy finish.
We recommend pairing with a classic Burgundian grape such as Chardonnay (white), Pinot Noir (red) or a Crémant de Limoux.
