19/03/22 ‘Gems of Piedmont’ tasting

Piedmont (Piemonte) is a utopia for wine lovers. From some of the world’s most prestigious red wine appellations in Barolo and Barbaresco, to smaller white wine names such as Caluso, there is a seemingly infinite world to explore. As always, our Wine Tour includes great wines, treats from the counters, high quality literature and an informative, entertaining presentation.

In-store

Join us in-store for an after-hours tasting on Saturday 19 March 17:00 – 19:00. Self-pour 12 bottles, using our maps and literature to guide you.  James will provide an introductory overview before you begin.

Tickets for the in-store tasting are £20 per person.

Online

Join James online at 19:30. Your tasting pack – which includes 6 sample bottles, literature and a ‘deli pack’ of treats from the counters – will ship on Wednesday 16th for delivery on Thursday 17th / Friday 18th. This co-incides with sending our Cheese & Wine Club: discounts apply for members (learn more here).  James’s entertaining and informative talk is accompanied with maps and slides.

Tickets for the online presentation are priced according to sample size, and include a refundable deposit of £6 (£1 per bottle) for 50ml and 100ml bottles, and £12 (£2 per bottle) for 250ml bottles. For full bottles, there is no deposit.
