On the eye: Intense ruby colour with garnet reflections.
On the nose: Complex: hints of black cherry, spice (including turmeric), violet & tobacco. Tar and mineral notes.
On the palate: Full-bodied, elegant, smooth, velvety and intense on the palate. Balanced tannins and aromatic intensity.
Food pairing: All roasted meats, beef fillet, rib-eye steaks, grilled lamb chop, game, spicy dishes, mushrooms, truffles and aged cheeses, such as aged provolone, parmigiano or gorgonzola.
