The cheese counters, containing over 100 varieties – rising to 200 at peak times – are the first thing you see when you enter Cuculo.
The excellent local dairies are particularly well represented, alongside a great selection of Italian cheeses. Also present are classics and rarities from France, Spain and Switzerland.
Within this, you can find a great representation of each milk type – cow, goat and sheep. The cheeses are all marked clearly with their provenance, milk type, and pasteurised and vegetarian credentials.
